we just got official word back from the vet...

Herki is DNA-sexed MALE. i guess our instincts on his gender was correct! :-) this means it will be a while before he will go to a sanctuary, but i think i will continue to try and work with him.

because he seems very curious and loves various treats, i am going to try some target training with him. maybe this will help deflect his energies to something positive instead of launching himself at me... :-/
