herkimer is doing well. when we allow all of our birds out on different playstands in the living room, i let him out to have free range in the bird room (where his cage is). he usually stays on top of his own cage, but sometimes wanders about, checking out the other birds' living quarters.

yesterday, my husband said that herkimer was "conversing" with a crow outside the window. how cute!
